This is the flag of the United States and it's called the "Stars and Stripes". It has 13 red and white stripes and 50 white stars on a blue square. One star is for each state of the United States now, and the stripes are for the first 13 states of the Union. The flag is also called the "Star-Spangled Banner", the name of the national anthem of the United States.
